Description: We are seeing multiple accepted names with different authorship for quite a few canonical names. This is impossible from the standpoint of the nomenclatural codes, but we need to descide how to treat those names best in the GBIF backbone.

The initial proposal is to select the name from the most trusted source as the accepted and assign the DOUBTFUL status to all others. In case we see several authorships from the same most trusted source we should pick one randomly]]>

Only one accepted name remains, all other become doubtful taxa.
