Description: The scientificName parameter up until yesterday I think (from tests I run on client libraries once/day) worked, but now doesn't, on the /occurrence/search route.
For example:
http://api.gbif.org/v1/occurrence/search?scientificName=Accipiter%20striatus returns nothing, but used to work
But the equivalent with taxonKey works http://api.gbif.org/v1/occurrence/search?taxonKey=2480612
I see the param description states "Only unique scientific names will return results, homonyms (many monomials) return nothing! " - But AFAICT that name leads to unambiguous taxonkey on the name backbone http://api.gbif.org/v1/species/match?name=Accipiter%20striatus
thanks! Scott]]>

Comment: Indeed, this appears fixed - perhaps by the new backbone
