Description: Looking into the typification of higher taxa I can see that there are thousands of records specifying a typegenus or typespecies which is great. Unfortunately it seems the corresponding scientific name of that genus or species is missing and instead you find the scientific name of the typified higher taxon.

For example for the synonym Labiidae it says:
http://dermaptera.speciesfile.org/Common/basic/Taxa.aspx?TaxonNameID=1220

"Type genus: Labia Leach, 1815; priority for family-group names based on Labia dates from Labiidae Burr, 1909. First use as Labiidae by Burr, 1909."

In that case the typespecimen extension record should look like:

typeStatus=typegenus
scientificName=Labia Leach, 1815
taxonRank=genus
