Description: Index Fungorum in CLB is rather old (~6 years) and lots of species don't have any classification at all.
For example Omphalia undulata Quél.

Try to get Paul & Kew to publish a dwca of IF with basionym, types and potentially a classification from Species Fungorum?

[~mdoering@gbif.org] I've been in touch with Paul Kirk and have an up to date Excel dump that could be tweaked into DwCA. Paul's OK with GBIF using it (and points out that IF is part of the Index Fungorum Partnership, so they have to give permission not Kew). On behalf of the Index Fungorum Partnership Paul's given GBIF permission. It would be nice to publish it under their credentials not mine, otherwise I'm going to end up with lots of datasets attributed to me. Paul has plans for regular dumps, etc., but as always it's a question of having time to do it.
What I might look at doing is map the IF names to literature then upload my own DwCA with IF names linked to DOIs, and rely on GBIF to map those together. That way, IF gets credit/visibility for the names, and I get credit/blame for the mapping to literature.
