No idea why Oliver is left off - this is extracted from IMS, and order is the same as at present http://www.gbif.org/communications/directory-of-contacts/gbif-secretariat/ roughly divided into function areas (Hugo determined this order) - I am comfortable with it being alphabetical though I suspect we would want to put director and deputy at the top.
Regarding Markus and Lars, I am not too sure of the contract status and how the staff list is determined. I will check with Donald next week how he would like to present this list and we can make adjustments if necessary - but anyway I will ask Anne Mette and Cip to check why Oliver has fallen off the list.

Checked on this and Oliver's omission is a mystery - his details are on the relevant IMS list so seems to be some issue with the script being used to call up that list. One for Cip to investigate when he can.
Regarding Markus and Lars, apparently the staff list needs to match the list of staff employed by the Secretariat as supplied to the Danish foreign ministry, and this does not include long-term contractors based outside the country. Not my call, sorry.

Comment: [~thirsch@gbif.org] Tim, could you confirm whether the sort order at http://www.gbif.org/contact/directoryofcontacts#secretariat should still be alphabetical? Currently it is following a department-related ranking system. Is this a later design decision, or does Donald's decision from 26 Sep 13 (earlier comment above) still stand? Checking whether this issue can be closed.

Comment: As suggested in [~ahahn@gbif.org]'s last comment, there is an outstanding request to sort the secretariat staff according to the management structure and associated groups (this has already been implemented in the IMS) so I do not think it is worth spending time re-ordering by alphabetical order, but rather wait until we can implement the preferred solution.
