Description: An initial set of recommendations from the two pilot fitness-for-use working groups is made available to guide implementation. This includes recommendations on metrics and indicators as well as on content mobilization priorities.

*Rationale*
The GBIF tools and infrastructure will be enhanced to respond to the guidance offered [by the working groups] to incorporate recommended metrics and indicators within GIBF management processes and to use these to provide quality and fitness-for-use reporting through the GBIF portal (GBIF-7 and GBIF-8). Such reporting will assist GBIF with the evaluation of the effectiveness of its global data mobilization and tools. This information will be included within user interfaces and web services to enable users to assess whether data are likely to meet particular requirements.
