Description: Change 1)
In the old HIT, for DiGIR and BioCASE an orange bioDatasource representing the endpoint (service) is saved.
In the refactored HIT, for DiGIR and BioCASE we will save an orange bioDatasource representing the technical installation. For TAPIR we can save an orange bioDatasource also representing the technical installation I believe since it's 1 technical installation: 1 resource. I need to check how this will work for DwC-A, although I think the orange bioDatasource will just represent the resource.
Change 2)
In the old HIT, it would be the job of the HIT to expand the resources behind DiGIR and BioCASE resources. This is what Fede's new Metadata Synchronizer will do now instead. Therefore in the refactored HIT, the HIT needs to synchronize with the Registry to discover new resources.
The result of synchronizing with the registry will be the creation of new green bioDatasources. ]]>

Comment: We need the hosting organization info about the technical installation

Change 1) is nearly complete - the HIT can synchronize with the Registry and populate a list of technical installations that represent TAPIR, BioCASE, and DiGIR installations. The user can trigger the synchronization via the user interface for all technical installations. Still needed for Change 1 is:
a) permit synchronization of technical installations for only a single Node
b) permit synchronization of technical installations for only a single Organization

Comment: a) completed now, b) still to come

Comment: Work on Change 2) almost complete. The HIT can synchronize with the dataset aware registry, and create bioDatasources representing DiGIR, BioCASE, TAPIR, and DwC-A resources.

Comment: Change 2) is complete. A full harvest for example can be kicked off for a DiGIR green biodatasource now. Closing issue.
