Type: Bug
Summary: After the install.php script finishes running for the first time, the admin user is not created
Environment: Oracle Virtual Machine: Ubuntu 12.04.3, 2 cores, 2Gb RAM.
Priority: Blocker
Resolution: CantReproduce
Status: Closed

Description: At the end of the install process you are requested to provide a name and a password for the admin user. After providing it you are redirected to the real site (with no error message).
In my installation, you appear to be logged as 'Scratchpad Team' and not the suggested user. The password is not changed either, so if you ever log out from that account you will lose admin access to the system.
Checking directly the database, it is the only user created in the system.]]>

Comment: As the installation successfully passed with cURL extension installed, I cannot reproduce this issue. Could you please verify?

Comment: Verified in my Ubuntu installation as well. After installing the cURL PHP extension the first admin user is created with the credentials requested.
