Description: “For the nodes that don't have any other web-presence, NPT Startup could be more enhanced by adding: - More living home page (make the landing page more dynamic with pictures, videos, etc. accompanying the text)”

“1. The Home page could use some statistics.”

“There should be a clear home page showing pictures of relevant biodiversity within the country (such as animals)”

“It might be useful to have a map of the country with all occurrences of all species, directly on the home page (maybe via a thumbnail).”

“Certainly, in terms of creating interest and excitement around GBIF and data- publishing, having some interesting information and some interesting graphics/visuals on the site will spark additional interest. The facts page and Encyclopedia of Life descriptions on species is a visual way of promoting biodiversity and data publication. I wonder if it would not be beneficial to also include a 'species of the week/month' picture box or scrolling banner with some local species to really highlight biodiversity in the region.”

“Layout really needs more attention - Too much text, not enough diagrams, schedules, figures, etc. All the info you need is there but it can be presented in a more easy consumable way”

“More can be done to make the home page more attractive. Also, it is useful to have some stats on the data available for the country, on the home page. This way, the person visiting has an idea of the number of primary data records that is available for a country, in GBIF.”]]>
