Comment: may I ask how you got to this link? I can see the trouble opening the link but when I remove all rank parameters and add new ones it does not happen

Comment: it happens for ranks which are not part of the resultset, i.e. if you add a cultivar rank facet to the above search with highertaxon key and dataset key the resource bundle is bypassed apparently

I got this for
http://portaldev.gbif.org/species -> click on "691 total infraspecific"
In the screenshot I got a few more becauses I changed the "dataset" facet from the backbone to Index Fungorum
