Description: In the 'minimal' map view, the yellow squares showing species record locations almost disappear against the cream background especially as you zoom in. Is there any way of improving this?

We want to rethink map styles before launch proper e.g.
i) having clickable points when there are only a few records
ii) better display of sparse data
iii) better base maps
I am afraid this is not easy, so won't be done immediately with so many other non functional bits having higher priority.

Comment: Integrate the new maps from Vizzuality

Comment: There are still some styling improvements that can be made, but maps are significantly changed, so closing these issues, to let people reopen specific issues again. Classic coloring is in.
