2. The Member Status in the first text box on the page needs to read "Other Associate Participant"
3. As no GBIF region will be attached to many non-country members, the enum value needs to default to "N/A" or similar in cases where the IMS entry for the GBIF region is empty

To allow all the variants in the ordering of english words I will use all permutations of node type and participant status so we can define a phrase for each. The from region part will only be appended if there is a region, so that should be a separate issue.
If you could verify that the following list is ok, I am implementing this now for all node pages:

We should also be clear what goes into "Member Status" in the box below. Currently this is ONLY the participant status, not the type of node.
Should we simply reuse the infoband line from above?

The wording in the above list is fine, although I question the need for Other.Voting since the rules do not permit organizations to become voting participants.
'Member Status' does not need to include the entire phrase from the description at top of page. I recommend (in the order listed above):
Voting Participant
Associate Country Participant
Former Participant Country
Observer Country
(Voting Participant Organization) (NO!)
Other Associate Participant
Former Participant Organization
Observer Organization

Comment: Great. The OTHER.VOTING status is not supposed to occurr, but it does not hurt to be prepared on the portal side if things in the registry get bad.
