Description: Figure out this page, which shows a distribution map:

With the new portal, the only filter I was able to use was selecting a certain taxon ID. And just one.
In the old data portal I was able to make advanced filtering, like adding different taxa (i.e. 2-3 selected species), date ranges and many other things.
An example (the same map but limited to occurrences in the present century):

http://data.gbif.org/occurrences/search.htm?c%5B0%5D.s=0&c%5B0%5D.p=0&c%5B0%5D.o=Camellia&c%5B1%5D.s=33&c%5B1%5D.p=0&c%5B1%5D.o=2000-2014
