Description: Need the name of the author of the species. However, I cannot find the species in your database. It is a mite parasitising the pond bat, Myotis dasycnemi.

Comment: Contacted via email. The taxon (spelling variation for Acanthophthirius) is not included in our name data sources. Coverage of the group seems to be overall low in CoL.
