Comment: This is pretty meta, feedback on the feedback mechanism. Trying to get the Feedback form to work in IE 11. It turns out that I can only submit feedback by pressing the "Enter" key. If I click on the "Submit" or "Close" button nothing happens. Very frustrating. I'm guessing that whatever code creates the modal dialog box is capturing mouse clicks in IE in such a way as to break the functionality of the button.

Comment: I hasten to add that I'm not a regular Windows user (perish the thought) and I realise that IE is about 10% of GBIF's traffic, but would be nice if this worked (IE is a lot nicer browser than I remember it being).

That is annoying! I will hasten and say that it is an iFrame delivered by Atlassian. So i guess we should report it to them and then consider wether we should be using Jira and the future for site (not data) feedback. I will test to see if there is something we can do on our end, but I doubt it.
Either way there is something about the way we currently use it and the amount of non informative issues it creates that doesn't work too well (system failures leading to issues that are temporary and data feedback fx)
Let us know if you know of a good way of collecting this kind of site feedback. Integrating screenshots could possibly be nice.
And I agree, IE has gotten much better. Still a lot of quirks, but I fear more for the future of Safari these days. They seem to be the new ie8 with a oddities galore.
