Description: This record has two images that are shown on the Verbatim tab, but they don't show on the Information tab. Has the portal been configured yet to read the Audubon Core Extension to display images like when they are made available in the associatedMedia field? This particular dataset did not have the media links also in the associatedMedia field.

From today, the Audubon Core extension is now interpreted and will appear on the portal as the other supported media extension.
We still need to enable the image-cache service since some images are quite large.

[~larussell], Audubon Core extension is now interpreted for this record but it is not possible to render the "preview" on the web page due to the following issue:

The issue is that http://www.flickr.com/photos/68883384@N05/23031453813 is pointing to an HTML page and not a jpeg image.
I wonder in the case of Flickr if we should not fill [ac:furtherInformationURL|http://terms.tdwg.org/wiki/Audubon_Core_Term_List#Further_Information_URL] and leave [ac:accessuri|http://terms.tdwg.org/wiki/Audubon_Core_Term_List#Access_URI] empty?

Ideally the original flickr image URL should be given so we can render an image.

I'm not sure how stable are https://farm6.staticflickr.com types of URL.
This page seems (in the sense it does not say there are not reliable) to suggest they are:
https://www.flickr.com/services/api/misc.urls.html

Comment: I've used them over years and they did not change, so I would think this is rather safe - even though it's suspicous flickr deliberately does not show them openly

Comment: [~larussell] Could you verify whether this issue is still valid, please? The record URL went out of scope since, and I cannot quite reconstruct what the problem was. Images should display provided the correct url is given - if you could point me at the example, that would help.

Comment: [~larussell] Sorry, my mistake - delete the /verbatim part and the record is there. As I understand the earlier comments, the images could be made visible on GBIF.org if the application html url could be changed for the jpg url in the data source. From your viewpoint, is it worth contacting Dave and John about this?
