I'm processing 500,000 plant names at the moment from various conservation organisations (a whole lot of invalid & unrecognised names) and would like to contribute more changes to GBIF like this. Is there a way I can propose changes (which you can moderate) more directly? Filing an issue seems like a waste of time when one could just make/propose the small change in a pull request.

We are in the middle of updating our backbone taxonomy which should be live next week. So ideally please wait with feedback until then.

If you have identified many issues it might be best to create one jira and upload a simple CSV file with a few columns like gbifID, old name, correct name, reference link, etc

Does that sound good?
