Ok, this pretty vague report is actually a serious bug. What the user did (I think) was try and use _Bothrops neuwiedi_ as a filter and got nothing. Here's a screencast of me doing the same thing:

Note that when you select the name from the list of possible hits you get the "APPLY" button but the filter itself is blank. When you click apply the TAXON_KEY field is set to the name, not a taxon_key, and hence the search returns "Oops!"

Why is the filter not set properly?
