Summary: Searching is not intuitive
Description: Why can't I just put in a genus name and get all records of all species of that genus in the location specified?  It keeps making me choose a particular species, and I don't want to do that.

Not entirely sure what issue is given lack of detail. From the referrer field I assume user was looking at Penstemon. If ou search for that genus you get the genus name as well as species names, contrary to what user reports.

However, the search is a little confusing in that the top hit for the genus Penstemon is NOT Penstemon but a genus containing Lenstemon as a substring:

Hence the ordering of search results seems odd.
