Description: Can/should we consider asking Cornell to provide links to source URLs for individual records, either via a map viewer or the source 'checklist'?

iNat seems able to maintain the link between what's shared on GBIF.org and the richer details they maintain as a URL in the 'Source details' section of their records.

In the instance of this example, one can quickly use the information available through GBIF.org to search the eBird map, filter by time and place:
http://ebird.org/ebird/map/blcmot1?neg=true&env.minX=-88.70812565016996&env.minY=16.61258319099987&env.maxX=-88.2381168000723&env.maxY=16.857196867944417&zh=true&gp=true&ev=Z&mr=on&bmo=1&emo=1&yr=range&byr=2014&eyr=2014

Then pull the record's source:
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S19092952

Such open cross linking would improve transparency and discoverability ]]>
