Description: WAUW, I just discovered the verbatim search functionality on the portal. You should put this in the GBIF news and somehow highlight it as a new great thing on the occurrence search page :-) I overlooked it though I use the portal every day. I look forward to the new portal, hoping that it also will be possible to download free text search results :-)

Thanks.  This is very much with thanks to great work by [~fmendez@gbif.org]

It is very new functionality, and we'll very shortly be releasing a first version of maps for any occurrence search.  The new site under development will of course address styling issues etc.

We will get full text downloads working, but it will be some weeks before we can, largely due to holidays and a busy period of reporting coming up.
