Thanks for updating the link and citation. But I need to reopen the issue because the changes do not satisfy all the requirements detailed in the issue description and made changes not asked for:

* The citation points at an older version of the User Manual - please see the citation string I provided in the issue description.
* In the issue description, it was not instructed to append "many other members of the GBIF community" to the contributors list - please remove this.
* The Spanish version requires basically same set of updates. Note a list of contributors that should be recognised for translating User Manual for version 2.3 (Beltran, N. & Dean, V., trad.) can be found here:

I'd also like to raise the question of whether we can assign DOIs to both the English and Spanish versions of the User Manual. This will avoid us from having to update the links in the future as we can always change the DOI's target URL should it change in the future. Thanks.

More changes done. Links go to the suggested URLs and citation strings have been assigned.

I leave the question of the DOI to Kyle Copas, as I do not know if we support that.

Thanks Alberto, that closes the issue now.

Looking forward to hearing more from [~kylecopas] regarding assigning DOIs to the online GitHub-based user manuals.
