Description: Hi,

I am looking for a way to search datasets that contains records recorded in a specific country using the API. According to the documentation on the website, the `country` query parameter is not implemented for the dataset search. However, when I try for example the following query, I do get a list of datasets returned. http://api.gbif.org/v1/dataset/search?country=AQ

So what is the current status of the `country` parameter for the dataset search?

Hi Bart, you spotted a new implementation that we did not yet surface in the portal or announce properly.
The API does indeed now retrieve datasets by their country, year & taxonKey data coverage. The API is fully working and the data is almost realtime (lacks up to 1 day max).

We will use the API in the new portal and update the API docs soon.
Feel free to use it right away!
