Description: I recently reviewed the dataset search, documenting its complete list of facet filters ( see: http://dev.gbif.org/wiki/display/POR/Webservice+API#WebserviceAPI-RegistryServices:DatasetSearchService )

The following facet filters are implemented in the Portal:

Dataset type (type)
Keyword (keyword)
Owning organization (owning_org)
Network of origin (network_origin)
Hosting organization (hosting_org)
Decade (decade)

The following available facet filter is not implemented in the Portal yet:

Country (country).

Is this on purpose? If they are in our API, why not expose them in the Portal?]]>

Comment: datasets do not have any data about their country coverage so far - once they do the facet should show up
