Issue 10664

Position and style dataset citation block

10664
Reporter: kbraak
Assignee: mdoering
Type: Task
Summary: Position and style dataset citation block
Priority: Major
Resolution: Fixed
Status: Closed
Created: 2012-01-23 14:42:08.175
Updated: 2013-08-29 14:45:08.595
Resolved: 2012-11-02 18:14:38.882

Description: See attached screenshot for how the newly added (new because it wasn't in the original static mock dataset page) currently looks.

The data is derived the the EML, and can be entered for any type of dataset whether it is a Checklist or Occurrence. Please see the attached screenshot for how data for these fields gets entered in the IPT.

Questions:

1) Should this occupy its own block, or should it be moved together with Dataset Usage and legal issues?

2) Should citation and bibliographic citations be separated into columns, or occupy a single column that expands over the width of the block?

Comment: This has been under review in the meeting in Madrid. It looks fine, I think this can be closed.

Comment: [~mdoering@gbif.org] I would like to remove the blocking issue with your permission. POR-16 is a user story.

Comment: Closing issue, it has been decided a long time ago that we keep the citation in a separate block and consistent across the various datasets and even species & occurrence details
