From Andrea:

Based on "Taxonomic Classification" module, version at http://staging.gbif.org:8080/portal-web/species/42 (_not_ name usage page):
- remove sub-header "species", display name only (same as at top of page)
- "taxonomic classification" subsection: cookie trail, functionality: return to higher taxa
  - for a nub page, displays only major linnean ranks as indexed in nub taxonomy
  - for a checklist usage page, display all ranks needed to navigate (? - this and the use of the "extended" name list functionality may need re-discussion after initial implementation, as the list can be quite long)
- "lower taxa" subsection: functionality: browse to child taxa and below
  - remove cookie trail ("All") within this section, as it moved up one level (see "taxonomic classification", above)
  - taxon browsing module is opened with focus point of the taxon given at the top of the page, displaying children with (if above species level) species counts, otherwise counts at infraspecific level
  - basis of counts is the nub taxonomy for a nub usage page, the individual checklist for a checklist usage page
- right hand side: remove "related usages" and "appears on" sections - they turn up lower down the page in the "Appears in" block
- right hand side: insert synonyms section taken from "Species overview" block at the top of the page. Remove from there to give common names more room.
