The following fields from the Organization model object are currently _not_ shown on the organization page:
-Phone
-Email
-Lat/Long
-Metadata language
-Tags
Furthermore, there is no limit to the number of contacts displayed on the page.
And, the organization's list of technical installations that it serves is not shown.
[~mdoering@gbif.org] [~ahahn@gbif.org] We need to decide a) whether we'd like to show these additional fields and b) how many contacts we'd like to display by default.
I have a feeling we want to show all contacts that have preferred=true, which is how we distinguish between primary and non-primary contacts.

a)
- phone, email: definitely
- lat/long: we hardly ever have data for this so far, so not top priority
- metadata language: I think we explicitly removed this at some point because its function was not clear
- tags: yes, with the same filters / formats as on a dataset page (exclusion of kvp-type tags, etc)
- technical installations: I would think it is important to show, and not only for hosting scenarios. The organisation page is the one that a hosting organisation will check first to see whether they get appropriate credit ("Canadensys has an IPT and hosts x datasets for the following other organisations: y, z, a"). Apart from this, technical installations as such are also something that people are interested in ("how many institutions still use TapirLink" is a real-life example)
b) Contacts: we had this discussion before in some other issue (cannot find it at the moment). If I remember correctly, the decision was that all contacts should be shown.
Question on b): how about the "...more" type links in cases of long lists? I would suggest to bubble primary contacts to the top of the list, and extend to display the others, were available, on request

starting with b) Id say show all and that single page - there won't be too many, will there?
Regarding technical installations we said so far that we do not expose an installation at all and I would prefer to keep it that way. Why list an http apache server with no metadata at all or a digir installation. I think it's best to simply list the owned, maybe also the served datasets.
But as the entire page will be replaced very soon please do not put much effort into it now!

In http://code.google.com/p/gbif-portal/source/detail?r=1301 I added phone, email, metadata language, and keywords (public tags). All contacts remain displayed in a 2 column format.
I did _not_ add lat/long or technical installations given Markus' warning.
The change improves all of Organization, Node, and Network pages. Please see screenshots for examples.
Still to check:
-How private Tags get displayed

Comment: There is additional content still to be displayed on Network page - see linked issues for details.

Review complete: Private tags appear for logged-in admins (see screenshot of organization page with 2 private tags).
In summary, this is the information missing from the member pages:
On the Organization page: technical installations (although supposedly we decided not to show this information)
On the Network page: constituent datasets
On all Member pages: lat/long (probably best suited to show on the organization page, and nice to be shown on a map)=
[~mdoering@gbif.org], you said that member pages will be rewritten in the future anyways. I would like to close this issue. Do you object?
