Is there any example for a name usage / species pages that represent a synonym?
Or don't we want to show species synonyms on their own page? (for name usages I think we have to)
There is far fewer information available for synonyms, but the nomenclatoral bits like publishedIn, nomenclatoral & taxonomic status, a bibliography and even related usages exist.

The current GBIF and ecat portals both have synonym pages.
To stick with a classical example, Felis concolor:

Alternatively we could redirect species synonym pages to the accepted or its disambiguation page, but then we lose the option to show any information about them which I think is bad

we have a synonyms page now implemented using the regular layout.
For example Felis concolor:
