On a species page there is an Occurrences tab which shows a map, the taxonomic browser and a search list of occurrences.
Is this really needed? We show the taxonomic browser and the map already on the species page plus a link to the corresponding occurrence search , e.g. 98,453 occurrences on the right hand side of the map. I would be in favor of removing the tab

After discussion with Dave, 17/10/11, we remove the tab as it appears redundant (http://staging.gbif.org:8080/portal-web/species/42/occurrences). Need to make sure that the species page allows navigation to the occurrence page while carrying the taxon name over into the occurrence search as a facet value.
