Description: What would be the best way to let the "GBIF_TEMP_NODE disappear from the organization list at http://portaldev.gbif.org/node/other? It jumps out on you, and looks a bit dubious, so there was agreement in our portal review meeting that it should go. Can we
- find an alternative name that is less conspicuous (what?)
- filter it from the list so that it does not show
- allow publishers without a node (not preferred)?]]>

What is the purpose of that node? The datasets listed under plublished seem like a crude mix - where does that come from? Is this related to the ECAT interims publisher?

Renamed to "GBIF Secretariat" after consultation with TH, and added some descriptive text. Remaining issues:
- on the member page (http://portaldev.gbif.org/node/02c40d2a-1cba-4633-90b7-e36e5e97aba8), there should be no member status (sub-header "A GBIF Associate Participant Organization" and Member Status "Other Associate Participant" in the Participant information block both need to be empty). [~mdoering@gbif.org], could this be done?
- the description contained in the old registry needs to be somehow carried over (http://gbrds.gbif.org/browse/agent?uuid=02c40d2a-1cba-4633-90b7-e36e5e97aba8). How?

Description and title should go into the IMS, the status would require another conditional hack which starts to get out of hands a bit. We can hack it on the portal page, but the webservices will contain the raw status just as taiwan is different in the webservice and what the portal says.
I can hack the page assuming the UUID is fixed now?

The GBIF_TEMP_NODE was renamed to GBIF_Secretariat, and no longer appears on http://portaldev.gbif.org/participation/list
Since we can't allow publishers without a node, this issue's work is complete. Closing.
