The portal UI might restrict users who are not admins from putting in another persons email, but I foresee regularly doing downloads I want to push to someone else's email without my effort. I think the API should support authentication, but needs to allow another mail address (probably multiple mail addresses) be provided. It should probably then check if the user is allowed to send to an address not associated with their User account.

Comment: Thanks. Okay I _definitely_ need help with the authentication and the authorization part of it. Also: Will I get an E-Mail address by default or should I look it up from the registered user if none is provided?
