Description: We currently use Oozie to store download metadata and provide a list of a users previous downloads. Any time we need to migrate to a new CDH or Oozie setup we will lose this information. Also anytime we change the stored format we cannot update the old json and these downloads will be lost too.

Better to also store download metadata in the registry or some other place so we can migrate and backup it.]]>
