Description: In the index version currently live, about 4% of all georeferenced records (10,213,290 out of 277,736,392) are flagged as having geospatial issues detected. Resolving the existing flags, all of the issues reported relate to coordinate issues. The definition of the flag, on the other hand, also includes issues relating to country name interpretation, altitude, and depth values.

While it is possible that the quality of data did indeed improve, and despite the fact that only a few datasets actually supply altitude and depth information, the low number of flagged issues and the complete absence of anything but coordinate-related issues suggests that those other types may just not yet be integrated into the rollover processing. Would it be possible to check, and eventually extend?

See attachment to ROL-13 for explanation on the interpretation of geospatial issue flags]]>

Comment: If I understand correctly this should be fixed by the new realtime architecture.
