Description: The new BioCASE Provider Software can produce dwc and abcd archives for each dataset (potentially multiple) inside a biocase endpoint.
The existence and URL of these archives will be indicated in the capabilities response which is about to be extended in the next protocol version by Jörg Holetschek]]>

That's awesome. Is there already some documentation about how this is going to look like?
If it's DwC-Archive then I guess the Metadata Synchroniser would see that and we'd have no problem but what about ABCD archive? I guess we'd prefer that to anything else if they don't provide DwC-A. Is it just a zipped up thing of all records?

Comment: yes, the abcd archive is just a huge zipped xml file with the entire content of that endpoint. The dec archive then is generated by some XSLT, so its lossy. Im meeting up with Jörg shortly for a coffee as he want to discuss different options for the capabilities response.
