I understand we won't use a versioned URL for our API, come version 1.0.

I understood wrong, we haven't come to a final decision as a whole group yet.

In a short discussion today between OM, TR, and I, it was agreed that:

-we need to maintain a versioned URL (ie /v1), so that we don't back ourselves into a corner when we need to introduce changes that aren't backwards compatible.
-we do not want to have to support two concurrent versions (ie /v1 & /v2) running in production. Adopters will be encouraged to update when necessary. When a new version gets released, the previous version could be kept up for transition period, while pointed at static data.

Comment: Last remaining places where it says v0.9 comes from the profile, so when we release using new properties in the profile for v1, the page will update automatically.
