Description: Dear GBIF,
As far as we recall, the "old portal" offered to filter for continents. Is that feature still available? (it's difficult to draw a bounding box / polygon around e.g. the whole of Europe :-)
Also, many other filtering categories we cannot seem to find, such as "has image URL".

It's in the pipeline, to extend occurrence records to include all Darwin Core terms, and to extend occurrence search with more filters as necessary. See OCC-312 for more information on extending occurrence records.
Filtering by continent will definitely be included in the coming months, but GBIF has to decide on a continent standard first, and start inferring continents from countries in our processing.
