Description: It's quite essential to have RSS feed so other websites can relay GBIF news or direct visitors to the portal. Suggest Cip to create a view of News contents and expose it as in RSS feed format.
At the same time, filtered feed according to country tag can also be taken as argument in the request URL.]]>

Comment: As far as I am aware this is already possible - see http://www.gbif.org/developer/news. There are already RSS buttons on the country page news list but I agree we should have them on the main news list as well. Cip, did we not discuss this? Thanks.

I tend to say this is only partially fixed. We still need this in our API. For now if one needs to get news of spain, http://www.gbif.org/taxonomy/term/498/feed is the address to use. It'll be much more straight-forward if one could use http://www.gbif.org/country/ES/news/rss as a predictable format. [~cvizitiu@gbif.org] Could you please help with that? This will help NPT Startup users to have country specific news block automatically. Thanks!
