Description: Currently the TypeSpecimenMapper listByUsage returns a list of TypeSpecimen ordered by scientific name and id. Ideally, the highest priority type status should appear first in the list. For example, the holotype should appear first since it is of greatest interest, and so on.

Probably the best way to do this ordering is write a custom comparator in Java. Some consensus on what the highest priority type status are is also needed.]]>

Comment: [~kbraak@gbif.org] do you have an example of plenty types? I have not seen more than 2 so far, but obviously there can be species with more type specimens

Comment: This issue was created a couple years ago, under the assumption there could be plenty. Therefore, I will close as invalid.
