Comment: That setting was used to allow jetty:run to run without building a war, so that it reloads modified templates etc immediately. I cant think of another solution than this I am afraid. Also the generated files need to be in webapp/css finally in the war, but I would think we could manage that by configuring the war plugin. Then again - what would we gain by going through this pain - given we find a solution for jetty?

Comment: I opened this because it bugged me to see non committed files but if you guys are happy the way it is then there's no reason to do anything about it.
