Description: "Dont' know if it is possible to "force the portal to use a certain checklist to represent accepted names and synonyms when I do searches.
I mean: once we have published our own local checklist, I would like it to be used when I search data.gbif.org for a synonym, in order to get returned occurrences related to that name, but also occurrences of its accepted name - according to our checklist - and occurrences of all their synonyms." Comment: The basic idea is to allow to use alternative taxonomies to organise occurrences against. This has been on the map for a long time, but is nothing that we can easily close as either 'done' or 'won't do'. Transfer to a user story to keep on file?

Comment: Sounds good - I have transferred the issue to type Story now.
