At least you can search on collector name now. Good!

One can not search on collector number (which is a basic necessity for users like me). To discover if a particular specimen--collector name + number--is in a data set and how it is identified is one of the most common ways I use such databases, but GBIF doesn't provide that option. This version apparently doesn't even *show* the collector number in the returned data. HORRIBLE!

[~omeyn@gbif.org] please can you contact the reporter with an estimate of when this will be implemented? Not sure on feasibility of adding new fields for 1.0, so please bump to 1.1 if you think more realistic. We should include a review of all DwC terms and implement a change that includes the more commonly used one.

Comment: I wrote to Barry promising it for 1.1, with a possibility it'd be done for 1.0.
