Styling, the layout is not ideal and a gridded layout (via divs or table or sth else) would be much better. For pdf downloads etc some icons should be considered?

Comment: Sorry missed this first time around. Yes please to offers from [~cvizitiu@gbif.org] and [~mdoering@gbif.org] to tidy up the layout here. It is a static page, although we update it quite regularly e.g. with the latest monthly slide presentation and will add new items from time to time.

If I could chip in here .. I am very reluctant to take any more pages from the non-data side out of Drupal, especially as this is one we in the communications team will be updating quite regularly and it will be inconvenient not to have the means to do that ourselves in Drupal. So [~cvizitiu@gbif.org] could you please make your best effort to improve the look using table format.

I think instead of a plain list, perhaps [~atalavan] already has some wireframes for this page? While we are working on the new theme, I'd like to learn more specs from this page so we can decide whether we include this in the sprint of the new theme, or the spring of the tools catalogue.

Comment: If I am correct, they are talking about the http://www.gbif.org/resources/keyinformation, Burke. There's a wireframe for the one you mention at http://dev.gbif.org/wiki/display/PDES/Resources, but not for the one that the guys are discussing above.

Comment: OK, kinda mixed them up. BEFORE the work by Burke on the tools catalog is ready I think it makes sense to port the simple(r) resources listing to the new theme. And in the mean time, change the keyinformation page by inserting the items into some table...

If I can comment, I would suggest we adjust the width of the thumbnail column to the same width, and proportionally adjust the thumbnail so the width is the same for all. That way we will have a better visual grid in the layout.
Also, the margin around the thumbnail inside the cell could be consistent, too.

Comment: Fixed with standard tables. Since the thumbnails depicted have different aspect ratios it should be decided by the editorial staff if we should go the constant column direction or not.

Comment: What I mean is, while maintaining the aspect ratio, make the column width consistent. I believe that's what [~mdoering@gbif.org] mean by saying "gridded layout" - which is not just drawing lines.

Comment: Yes [~bko@gbif.org], I meant just that. Keep a fixed width for the image preview and text columns everywhere. And consider removing the lines. The image can then be aligned to the centre or left as you prefer
