I would expect it to say something like:

Present in New Zealand according to NCBI Taxonomy and Catalogue of Life

http://api.gbif.org/v0.9/species/7187198/distributions

Including the dataset name would help distinguish them.

Blocked to some degree by POR-2700 we show the distribution source now (see screenshot) and present all distributions in 2 columns:
