Description: The time slider on maps does not allow me to move the start and end points to the same place. This is reasonable for the decades - I assume that if I select 1900 to 1910 it does not include 1910 (although that's not clear). It feels much odder for the "No date" category which seems to require me to select everything from "No date" to "pre-1900 (since I can't move the circles to overlap one another).
If I stand back from it, and consider the analogy of 1900 to 1910, I assume that this actually just means that the fact that the slider ends at "pre-1900" is irrelevant and that it just returns the "no date" records.
One part of the problem is that both circles look the same and there is therefore no reason to assume that one end is included and the other is excluded.
A UI that focused more on the intervals and whether they were selected might be clearer/cleaner than one that makes me focus on the ends of the line.
This is not urgent but should be revisited at some point.

No longer relevant at it is solved by the new map interface.
If the new interface is difficult to use, it should be addressed as a new issue.
