Description: Hello,
I was just inform you that there might be an error with the names in you header, I have talk to John Wieczorek and this is what he wrote:
"It is also worth sending a message to GBIF that the field in the
download misrepresents the data based on the Darwin Core definitions,
as I explained in the previous message. If you are not going to alert
them, please tell me and I will."
the field we are talking about is the :
"I just realized that you said the coordinate_precision field had that
value. That is certainly a mistake, given the Darwin Core defiition of
CoordinatePrecision
(http://rs.tdwg.org/dwc/terms/index.htm#coordinatePrecision). The
values you want should be in the Darwin Core field
coordinateUncertaintyInMeters
(http://rs.tdwg.org/dwc/terms/index.htm#coordinateUncertaintyInMeters)."
when you download the data there is no uncertainty base on coordinates. The reason why I was wondering is because some of the records the coordinate precision is 5000000 (meters?) which covers a huge amount of space, again an example is attach.
thanks

Issue confirmed.
GBIF is exposing values mapped to coordinateUncertaintyInMeters in the original source data, to coordinate_precision instead in the downloaded GBIF record.
