Description: Publisher complained that his occurrence is badly linked to a chinese species not wexisting in N America. See:
http://www.gbif.org/occurrence/50202645/verbatim
http://www.gbif.org/occurrence/50202645

The species & subsepcies does not exist in our backbone, but the nub lookup via the API does the right thing and matches the name to the genus:

http://api.gbif.org/v0.9/species/match?verbose=true&name=Quedius%20caseyi%20divergens%20(Casey)

Something going wrong during interpretation?]]>

Comment: The behavior of matching to the genus appears to be the best we can do. Nothing wrong spotted
