Description: I would expect a user most typically wanting to know whether or not a specimen is a type, not more. The old portal had a very simple filter just allowing to add a selector for "Type status: is Type specimen". Currently, it seems to be necessary to select all available "Type-values in order to answer that question.

I may have missed some discussions on that (@mdoering?), but would think it rather unlikely that a user would want to explicitly filter for any specific value from the current list, maybe with one or two exceptions. Would it be more meaningful to collapse that into a yes/no option again, and just show the detail with the individual records?]]>

Comment: After POR-2019, it will be possible to simplify the type filter as suggested.

Comment: all multiselect now have a Select All option, which i think solves this
