Description: I am not a Molluscs specialist, but following a presentation I typed Tridacnid in species search and from the presentation and other search they speak clearly of Bivalves, but when typing in GBIF the genus showing up is in Gastropods,

It is a family in GBIF and belongs rightly to the Bivalvia:
