Description: Once on to your homepage it is far from clear how the heck to get to where one can select an area on a map and get a download of what data are available.

And there appears to be no place on the site that provides instructions for users.  Once on a map page, for me by random chance getting there, it's not clear why data points disappear from the viewer if one zooms in to a scale of about 1cm = 100m

Comment: Space on home page currently dedicated to searching news, could be better used perhaps (relates to POR-2031).
