Description: Dear Ladies and Gentlemen.
The correct name of the above mentioned ID is Andesamerus Hammer 1962 (but not Andesmerus). The type species is Andesamerus peculiaris Hammer 1962 from Chile. A second species was described as Andesamerus novaezealandiae Balogh & Balogh 1986 from New Zealand.
